Note: Affiliate is the usual entry grade of membership. Affiliates may have less knowledge and experience than higher grades and are not entitled to advertise their membership.

Nominated Surveyor Levels:
Level 1: Coding for vessels in all categories or carrying 16 persons or more or lifting/towing or carrying more than 1 tonne of cargo;
Level 2: Coding for vessels up to Category 2 not requiring a stability book.
