The YBDSA is the management company for the YDSA, ABYA and the PCA. YBDSA also has 'subscribers' who are professionals within the marine industry, and these are listed in this website as Partner Organisations. The Associations do not provide entry-level training for brokers, designers or surveyors, but do provide on-going development training to assist members to retain their professional knowledge and expertise. A 'professional' is generally considered to be someone with the relevant practical and theoretical knowledge, together with membership of a professional association.
